Upgrade your VM95 Series cartridge with this microliner stylus that traces the record grooves with incredible accuracy, resulting in nuanced audio reproduction that elliptical and conical styli simply can't match. The stylus's multilevel shape also wears better than other styli, while reducing the wear on your records.

VM95 Series - Styli Compatibility

Every cartridge diamond stylus becomes worn after a period of play. Around 500 hours for a conical stylus, 300 hours for an Elliptical stylus, 1000 hours for a Microlinear stylus, and 800 hours for a Shibata stylus.

The VM95 Series dual moving magnet cartridges can be used almost forever by replacing the interchangeable stylus. It is no longer necessary to purchase a complete cartridge when your diamond is worn out, you can simply buy the matching replacement stylus, but also enjoy the experience of upgrading your cartridge with a different stylus.

The six models of VM95 Series cartridges all use the same electromagnetic engine-body, therefore each of the six replacement styli are perfectly compatible.

Really liked the Microlinear stylus on our setup. My wife and I listened to a handful of songs known for challenging a stylus first with the original conical stylus that came with our entry level AT-70X, then with the VMN95ML.
Songs listened to were Sultans of Swing, Gold Dust Woman, Aja, In the End by the Beatles, Great Gig In The Sky, etc. IMMEDIATELY noticed the difference and improvement in clarity and sound quality. The one that stood out most was the middle of Steely Dan Aja when the sax and drums are going along, ... They were all much clearer, but the sounds in the background from I believe a xylophone or something came in so much clearer from the edges our eyes both opened in surprise.

Love the stylus and appreciate the people at Skylabs. They had same price as other options so happy to send my money to them!!
