The CS 518 is ideal for vinyl enthusiasts, with a precise twin gimbal tonearm and the finest pivot ball bearings. The classic Dual tonearm guides even the most demanding cartridges precisely and safely for a first-class listening experience.

The solid aluminum gimbal construction uses four fine pivot ball bearings, with accurate spring-loaded anti-skating.

Easy to use

Ease of use is guaranteed with the characteristic features of the CS Series. The stepless anti-skating is easily adjusted with a rotary knob and a clear scale, and the three speeds are selected electronically with a rotary switch.

A detachable headshell makes it simple to change cartridges.

Drive and platter

A DC motor drives the platter through a precision-cut belt for lower wow and flutter, with a selector switch for 33, 45 and 78 rpm. Rubber mountings provide vibration decoupling.

The aluminum die-cast platter is built for long-term precision, with a heavy rubber mat for resonance damping and a hardened steel spindle in a brass bushing.

An MDF plinth, available with a black vinyl veneer or a Walnut wood veneer, sits on elastomer vibration absorbers inside the feet.
