An Engineering Marvel
The Ania Pro body required the most complex high-pressure injection mould tool Rega has ever designed — eight major parts, four of which must move in perfect synchronicity. The tool was manufactured exclusively by a senior toolmaker using Swiss EDM CNC machines capable of working to a single micron (one thousandth of a millimetre), with regular clients in the military and medical industries. Design and manufacture took an entire year.
The result: zero-tolerance body construction with high-specification stainless steel inserts, a unique rhomboid pivot system, and a generator assembly that sets a new benchmark for musicality, speed, clarity, and detail at this price point.
