Rega Brio MK7
Stereo Integrated Amplifier
The Brio MK7 is a handmade, high-performance stereo integrated amplifier — the most advanced and feature-packed Brio ever released. Housed in a compact, custom half-width aluminium case, it delivers 50 W per channel into 8Ω and 72 W per channel into 4Ω, with a fully re-laid circuit, an integrated Rega DAC, and a moving magnet phono stage. A masterclass in dynamics.
Key Features
Design & Circuit Improvements
Fully upgraded PCB layout handling higher specifications for all critical parts. A second raw power supply provides further isolation between the output stage and the driver/line/phono amplifier stages. Higher specification MUSES op-amps used throughout line, DAC, and phono amplifier.
Onboard circuit drives standard hi-fi headphones from the internal amplifier. Intelligently designed to minimise impact on the main signal path. Special attention paid to the speaker-deactivation switch when the front panel socket is in use.
Thermal cut-out disables speaker output if temperature becomes critical, then powers the unit off if the condition persists. Fold-back short circuit protection guards the output stage from excessive currents — not placed in the audio signal path.
Technical Specifications
A Masterclass in Dynamics: The Brio circuit is widely regarded as one of the most musically rewarding amplifiers in its class. The MK7 takes that legacy further — more refined, more capable, and built to last a lifetime.
