The Thorens TD 402 DD is a ready-to-play plug-and-play turntable that combines modern direct-drive technology with convenient operation and great sound. Its innovative and exceptionally smooth-running direct-drive motor ensures precise speed stability and reliable playback of your vinyl records.
Convenience features include Auto-Start and Auto-Stop at the end of the record, as well as an integrated phono preamplifier. This allows the TD 402 DD to be easily integrated into existing audio systems and enjoyed straight out of the box. The built-in phono stage can be switched off when using an external phono preamplifier.
The Thorens TP 72 tonearm features a special carbon tube construction, providing high rigidity with low mass. The factory-fitted Audio-Technica AT-VM95E cartridge is mounted in a removable headshell, allowing for easy cartridge or headshell changes whenever desired.
With its combination of direct-drive technology, convenient automatic functions and balanced sound, the TD 402 DD is far more than just an entry-level turntable.
